James has been at our firm since 2002, after working for a CPA firm in Brookings for three years prior to that.  James became a partner of the firm in June of 2006.  Agricultural and real estate taxation and consulting are his specialty. He also performs services for a variety of individuals, businesses, estates and trusts including financial planning and financial statement preparation.

James and his wife Kristin have three children, Kourtney, Karson and Kaden.  When time allows, James enjoys fishing, playing golf, hunting pheasants and going back to the family farm to work.
